Edmonds Psychology offers assessments, counselling and therapy to adults, children and adolescents. 

We understand it is never easy reaching out for help, especially if it has never been safe to do so therefore at Edmonds psychology, we thrive ourselves on ensuring we have an inclusive and non-judgmental therapy space. Our approach is genuine and real – we attempt to remove the anxieties of accessing mental health services and provide empowerment and support throughout a person’s mental health journey.

NDIS therapeutic supports

Edmonds Psychology is a registered provider for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The NDIS provides support to eligible people with intellectual, physical, sensory, cognitive and psychosocial disability. Edmonds Psychology can provide treatment, assessments and intervention aligned to an individual's personal goals.

Edmonds Psychology can assist you navigate the NDIS system and answer any questions you may have.

Children and Adolescent counselling

Investing in mental health and wellbeing early provides children and young people the opportunity to build resilience, understand their mental health and grow their emotional intelligence.

Trauma informed parenting and interventions also are provided dependent on the needs of the child's treatment. 

Workers Compensation and CTP (SIRA Approved) treatment

If you have been psychologically injured at work or in a motor vehicle accident within NSW, you may be eligible for psychological treatment services under the NSW Work Cover and Compulsory Third Party (CTP) schemes. 

Edmonds Psychology are accredited SIRA approved counsellors. Under the accreditation we provide evidence based psychological treatment to support your mental health recovery.

Victims Services counselling

Edmonds Psychology offers approved trauma informed counselling under the Victims Support Scheme. This scheme supports individuals who have experienced an act of violence in NSW.​
 

An act of violence is an act or series of related acts that:

  • apparently occurred in committing an offence.​ 

  • involved violent conduct, including sexual assault and/or domestic violence​.

  • resulted in injury (physical or psychological) or death.

Child Psychologist
Team Meeting

Clinical Supervision

Clinical supervision for child protection, domestic violent services, non government and government organisations in regard to trauma informed clinical practices and high-risk clinical presentations - group and/or individual supervision available. 

Board approved supervision under the 

Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Providing clinical supervision for provisional psychologists undergoing 4 +2 or 5 +1 clinical pathways. External supervision and paid placement opportunities available.
